Blackbird On Fence

There are two oak trees next to our house. One for the crows and one for the blackbirds ๐Ÿ˜ƒ Click on my video and you can hear both. On the pic: our blackbird after the rain, sitting on the fence. Eurasian blackbirds are common in our gardens.
  • Do you  like the yellow eye-ring?

  4. Nice photo Jedidja. I like hearing the bird on the video. I love the sounds of birds when they have something to say.

About our village having a dike, we don't have one. I haven't seen anything about flooding but there was a bad storm here in 2014 that damaged the coastal walk but it has been repaired.
Here is a video of the storm, it's almost 12 minutes

  6. Oh my! So you have crows, too! Yes, I would far rather hear the blackbird, too! So lovely! However, be it as strange as it is, the crow reminds me of my childhood on the farm. I don't think I ever hear a crow, but what I think of my happy childhood. (Smiles)

  10. I have a cross stitch project for fall that features a crow pulling a pumpkin carriage. Sounds crazy but very cute.
