I saw a plane today

This morning I cycled to a store. Here and there it was a bit slippery. I passed the water with the pollarded willows along it. Always nice. Also on a gray day.

Knotwilgen

On the second picture you can see a blikvanger (cans catcher). A sort of slanted trash can alongside the cycle path. While riding your bike you can hurl your rubbish in the trash, without stopping. I love to do it :)

I cycled further and saw an airplane :) It was landed in front of an office block. I've read on the site of Rodenburg BV that this plane symbolizes the core values of their company. This company is situated on the  fokkerstraat (straat =street) and this steet is named after Anthony Fokker.

Rodenburg BV

In the last pic a Good Fence!

  3. Now that plane is a classy company symbol, and I like the slanted trash cans so you don't have to stop.

  4. I love to see the sights along the way as you are on your bike ride. We also have a dusting of snow this morning in southern Indiana. I like to watch the snowflakes falling.

  5. I like your environment. And admire your fences. I have plans for Norway. And I will change the world. But right now I am enjoying cognac and listening to beautiful English Christian music. There is some. I find it on Spotify.

  6. What a wonderful post and photos. I love the idea there is a trash can you ride to and throw your trash away. Helps keep it litter free. The plane is a fantastic find, glad you stopped and photographed it. Have a nice and peaceful Friday!

    Groet Kees.

  13. Looks like a strange place for an airplane. : )
Your pictures are pretty with the light sprinkling of snow. Looks like someone sprinkled icing sugar over everything.
