Is het jou ook opgevallen dat de lucht zo anders blauw is? Zoveel mooier, dieper? Ik geniet ervan. Gisteren dacht ik: zo waren de luchten van mijn jeugd. Zo zag het er in de jaren zestig, zeventig uit. Of dat helemaal waar is weet ik niet.
Ik maakte wat foto's van de blauwe hemel met witte wolkjes.
Gaaf is het. Genieten.

Processierups-bestrijding
Op de foto's zie je een stukje van één van de twee eiken naast ons huis. Vanochtend kwam de tractor weer langs die de processierups bestrijdt. Wat een lawaai. Moet je over hebben voor het goede doel. Hij blies zelfs een grote tak van de boom. Daar kon ik een mooie foto van maken, van een paar natuurdetails, aan die tak.

BeantwoordenVerwijderenThat type of blue sky with the white fluffy clouds is the kind of sky I remember when I visited the Netherlands in the early 1980s. Whenever I see sky like that, I think of the Netherlands. Our skies are either clear blue with no clouds or overcast. It rarely seems to be anything in between.

Blue skies, clean air, clean water - that's not too much to ask for. It's quite possible if we only try to reduce pollution. We need nopandemic todo that for us.
