Wonderful weed
This plant is growing in the wrong place. But I love this wonderful weed. It's an extremely useful medicine (and food) and it grows in my yard. Wow! The English name, dandelion, is a corruption of the French dent de lion meaning "lion's tooth", referring to the coarsely toothed leaves.

You know? Dandelion contains chemicals that may increase urine production and decrease swelling (inflammation).

VerwijderenI have always been a defender of dandelions! They are so beautiful and I love the fact that the little children like to pick bouquets and take them to Mama! My children loved picking them for me and I cherish the thought that they wanted me to have their bouquet! Those are memories I cherish!
