Good Fences #5

Today photos of a fence in the town of 's-Hertogenbosch. It is placed next to the house where the mediĂ«val painter Hieronymus Bosch has lived. Besides this house collapsed an old building during renovations. And around this place now stands a solid fence. For safety.

The photos are taken by my husband with his Phone, yesterday. As a construction engineer he's interested in old buildings. Not in fences :)

    1. Thank you. I think it is large canvas, which is attached to the iron fence.

    Groet Kees.

  7. Wonderful photos! Theses old buildings are precious treasures. I hadn't heard of Bosch but when I looked him up, I think I recognized one of his paintings, Garden of Earthly Delights. I'm not sure where I would have seen it, perhaps in the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.

    1. That painting was transported to the Museo Nacional del Prado in Madrid in 1939 Until the present day the painting can be admired there :-)

  8. Old buildings are fascinating. Wouldn't want one to collapse though but so glad they have a sturdy fence around it now. Cool looking mural or hanging on the fence.

  12. I like your husband's photos of the old buildings very much -- and the fences are fine (I almost never take a picture of a fence just because...all my good fences are part of another picture or post). But I do look for them now.
