Good Fences #14 | Belgian Fences and Other Stuff

During the holidays I had a lot of pain in my hip. A few hours shopping and walking in a touristy old town as Brugge was really impossible. But my husband took me by car to an other city, close to our holiday destination and we enjoyed several shops and beautiful old buildings. After an hour we drove back to the holiday park

Klein uurtje winkelen
In de vakantie had ik veel last in mijn heup. Een paar uur winkelen in een toeristisch oude stad (ik wilde graag naar Brugge) was echt onmogelijk. Maar mijn man nam me mee met de auto naar een dorp dichtbij ons vakantieadres en wij genoten van diverse winkels en mooie, oude gebouwen. Na een klein uurtje we reden terug. Het was bijna net zo leuk als een dag lang winkelen. We waren lekker samen!


 
I've enjoyed it. Such a different architecture than in my own hometown. The tram station is so nostalgic. Oh and for Theresa's Good Fences, you will see a lot of Belgian fencing on the photos!
 
Leuk tramstation
Ik heb echt genoten. Zo'n andere bouwstijl dan ik mijn eigen woonplaats. Het tramstation is zo nostalgisch. O en voor Theresa's Good Fences, zie je heel wat Belgische hekwerken op de foto's. Gewoon goed kijken. Hekken genoeg.


A few photos I took in a shop. Funny mice, I love them. But they were soooo expensive! And do you like also the crockery? My husband doesn't love shopping. But I was glad he guided me ♡

Muizen
Ook nog een paar foto's, die ik nam ik een knus winkeltje. Die leuke muizen, ik was er echt helemaal weg van. Maar ze waren verschrikkelijk duur! En dat servies ... Mijn man houdt niet echt van winkelen. Maar wat was ik blij met dit uitje. Lief dat hij meeging.

    The old town really looks inviting. I enjoyed seeing the buildings and the old train station. Those mice are cute, my wife would probably want to make them instead :) Thanks for the lovely tour and have a nice Friday!

    Thank you for visiting my post Utah's Roads. Wow, it was in my teen years I visited Brugge - we lived in Goes), so it was close. Great shots of Brugge. The only way to have these mice are to make them yourself:):) Have a great weekend!

    It is always very nice to go to a different area. I enjoyed your photos, all delightful images and a beautiful city. I hope your hip feels much better. I have had problems with mine in the past and know this can be very painful. Happy day to you and always good health :)

    I would love to be able to visit a town like this. We just don't have them in this part of Florida (actually, we don't have them in any part of Florida!). It looks to colorful with so much to see and do. I enjoy shopping ... well, it depends. I enjoy shopping in a golf store rather than in a fabric store, but overall I enjoy trying to find a good bargain! Hope your pain subsides soon.

    Wat een leuk plaatsje waar je was.
    Het tramstation is echt super leuk.
    Het winkeltje heel erg leuk om in rond te snuffelen.
    Mooie dingen en schattig die muisjes.

    Very small fences but bordered with pretty flowers. - Looks like a fun place to visit. I enjoy browsing through shops like that.
