Gras ruikt naar toffee
Ik ben niet allergisch voor grassen, alleen voor bomen, dus ik maak een vrolijke foto van dit prachtige reukgras. Je kunt de typische geur van dit gras het beste ruiken door een paar sprieten te plukken, op te vouwen en een kwartiertje in je zak te stoppen en daarna eraan te ruiken.🍬 Ruikt echt naar toffee
Roze bloem in het bos
Ik zag ook nog een prachtige roze bloem. Mijn app vertelde dat het rotsooievaarsbek was. Die zag ik niet eerder in dit bos; alleen in een tuin als bodembedekker. Als je de blaadjes aanraakt, ruik je een zoete geur. Anders dan het gras maar niet minder verfijnd.🌸 Vond ik leuk, ik was verrast.

Het is hier prachtig. Kleine hagedissen schieten heen en weer over ons dek. Wij hebben er tot nu toe 3 gezien. Het lijkt erop dat ze op zoek zijn naar vrienden. 🦎

De zang van vogels is zó vrolijk en duidt op nieuw leven tijdens het broedseizoen.

It is a quote by Chana Weisberg; "Have you ever noticed…How a little bit of light…Can chase away a whole lot of darkness?" But Martin Luther King also had such a saying. Yes, so vital for such a time as this.
VerwijderenLast night I walked beside a long narrow inlet that crawls through the downtown area of our city. Perhaps a wee bit like the canals in your country. I love the fresh smell of salt air and the wild roses that bloom beside the path. Nature is so restorative. Often, it's out in a forest or beside the sea that I sense God's presence most.
