En zo’n koffiezetapparaat, maar dan in een andere kleur.
Dat schilderij aan de muur... mijn moeder borduurde zoiets.
Wat leuk allemaal.
En die pan! Ik dacht: zo’n pan wil ik ook... als ik er ooit eentje bij de kringloop zie, dan koop ik hem en ga ik er stamppot boerenkool in koken.

Ik bleef niet lang want er waren nog meer mensen in het huis, die alles bekeken. Het was zo druk dat ik zelfs niet boven kon kijken.
Alleen nog een foto van de plant. Van de bloempot.
Zo gaaf, al die oranje accenten.
Toen stapte ik het huis weer uit en knipperde tegen het licht. Zoeff, gleed zo van de jaren zeventig naar het hier en nu. Geen meisje meer in een doorzonwoning; maar je weet wel, een vrouw van. Gewoon wie ik nu ben. Ik.
Samen liepen we in de richting van de molen.
Daar ontdekten we een restaurantje.
Zullen we even opwarmen?
Ja doen we, zeiden we tegen elkaar.

PS. Het museum heeft 6 doorzonwoningen. Dat zijn rijtjeshuizen uit de jaren vijftig tot zeventig, met een groot raam aan de voorkant en aan de achterkant. Ze zijn in die tijd door heel Nederland heen gebouwd. Een van de huisje (waar ik naar binnen ging) is ingericht zoals rond 1975. Het huis is bedoeld om herkenning op te roepen bij mensen met dementie.

Good morning, Aritha. The photos of the home remind me of the simplicity of past years when there was not so much decoration on the walls or surfaces. The crocheted pillows on the sofa are like the ones my grandmother used to have. I also noticed that each room has a bit of orange (not certain about the living room lamp). How lovely to see the photo of you in the room.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenWhen we were in the Netherlands in June 2024, we enjoyed visiting Zaans Schans, which is very touristy, but so interesting. There were a few homes to walk through. I always enjoy seeing the way people lived in the past.

We have been there several times, and my soul always feels cleaner afterwards. Yes, cleaner because of the simplicity of the place.
M. is not Hungarian, so he did not know ĹrsĂŠg. When he first went there with me, he asked where we were going. I did not start to explain to him in more detail, I just said: "We are going back to the past, even to the past of the past."
He also fell in love with the place! :)

BeantwoordenVerwijderenThank you, Karen. I think this one is completely made of wood as well, though I didn’t look closely enough to be sure. You could go inside the mill that day, but the little staircase up was completely packed. My husband turned back and said, “I’ll skip it after all.”

BeantwoordenVerwijderenI get that, we think the same about crowds. Fortunately, this museum park is huge, so it wasn’t busy everywhere at all. For example, the little restaurant wasn’t crowded, and at the cheese museum there was literally no one around.
VerwijderenIn places like a windmill or a special 1960s house, yes, those did get busy. It was very uneven. And the later it got, the quieter it became, which was actually really lovely. It started to get a bit dark, the lights came on, and it felt very cozy.
Zo leuk hè, openluchtmuseum, als wij ergens zijn zoeken we er meestal wel eentje op er zijn er best veel zo in het land. Binnenkort hoop ik museumjaarkaarten te kopen đ

It was an optical illusion. The liquid didn’t move at all. I couldn’t even see it from where I was standing. Only when I looked at the photo afterward did I realize it looked like I was standing into pea soup.

I seem to remember the 70's liked the colour orange ... a bright and vibrant colour.
