The light of the forest with the little mist between the trees, that alone was worth coming to your blog. :)
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThat little sleeping ladybug is only noticed by those who value small beauties. Like you!
Ordinary things for me this week? Today we were in a cemetery and saw very beautiful old tombstones. Some of them were from the 1800s.
For example, Jesus resting his hand on his face and forehead, thinking and sad at the same time carved in marble.
I have never seen him depicted so touchingly. Perhaps, the sight of him on that old tomb cannot be called ordinary, but now I can't write about anything else that was so nice for me this week.
I had to share it with you.
Hugs. Éva
This week has been rather un-ordinary for us. Freezing temperatures here in a place where that is not normal, at least not so many days of it, and fires burning across our town causing smoke to cover our land and countryside for days, causing schools to close and some businesses also closed because the roads were closed due to such poor visibility. Thankfully the fires are contained, but the roots of trees, etc., continue to smolder. I love your pictures, especially the little lady bug snug as a bug in a tree pine cone. How sweet, and how wonderful you knew where to find her! I love the "tree harps" in the morning mist too. Your Amaryllis are still so beautiful!! What a gift that was! And that scarf is gorgeous! I love that color!!! What a delightful discovery in a thrift store! Amazing!!!! Thank you for this beautiful post. It got me to thinking about things that are extra-ordinary!!
