I would never make it in Europe as I never learned to ride a bike. We lived in the country so there was no place to ride . I am afraid I would break a hip if I learned to ride now.
I'm sure we, and the air could become healthier if more people rode bikes in Canada. Unfortunately we're a auto centred country and when rides a bike on the side of the road there is a great risk of being hit. Personally I'd like one of the 3 wheel bikes with a basket, it would be wonderful to cycle to the grocer and appointments. A sweet photo of your daughter and grandson.
I think it great that lots of people use the bike for transportation. Snow doesn't seem to bother them. When we lived in Alaska, people rode their bikes in -40F temps, they just put stud tires on their bikes during the winter.
Ha Jedidja, is dit Ede, de vernieuwde winkelstraat? komt mij bekend voor, we hebben daar jaren gewinkeld als we in Harskamp op de camping waren, we hadden er 23 jaar 'n stacaravan. Groetjes kees.
Great photos Jedidja! I haven't written a bike in years and years and never in winter. In my part of the country most transportation is by car. Have a day of blessings my friend.

VerwijderenEen leuk onderwerp, en fraaie opnamen Jedidja. Toch maar eerst even het zadel afvegen voor je er gaat zitten hè?
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI used to ride my blue bicycle everywhere when I was young. Love these photos.

BeantwoordenVerwijderenHow do you avoid icy patches? My brother-in-law had to have surgery on his arm after he fell riding in the winter. I am too afraid.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenVery nice photos of all the bikes. Have a blessed day. Madeline
BeantwoordenVerwijderenLovely photos of all the bikes. I don't even have a bike anymore, but did like to ride.

BeantwoordenVerwijderenIt seems that bikes are more widely used over there than they are here. Here a bike is used for pleasure riding.
