White Winter Forest!

In the late afternoon I drove to Kwintelooijen. I parked the car under pine trees. I've more energy the last days, so it was special for me to be in the woods again. I enjoy the silence.  And I climbed the stairs! The steps were slippery! Careful, be careful please ...

... and white trees everywhere

  8. Oh be careful on those stairs Jedidja. At my age, falling is my biggest worry!! The landscape there is just beautiful. So far we have had no snow this winter. In fact it continues to be quite warm. Like you, I have been getting out and walking while the weather is temperate.

  9. Absolutely love the stairs shot, but I would never dare to walk up them. I'm sure I would break something. Wonderful series of pictures.

  10. You are very brave to walk those stairs. The snow pics are beautiful and reminded me of the first lines of a poem.
    In the bleak midwinter, frosty wind made moan,
    earth stood hard as iron, water like a stone;
    snow had fallen, snow on snow, snow on snow.

    Thank you for your comment yesterday. We have seen recently a very interesting and beautiful documentary about the history of tulips (in Netherlands). The tulip fields are something amazing.
    Have a happy weekend!

  19. Those photos are beautiful. Imagine, we are in the middle of January already. Before you know it, it is April! 😊 I have been very busy this winter, so the time has gone fast. You encourage me to go outdoor myself. We have a bit more snow than you have, and I believe I can make a snowman in the entrance to my house. 🙂
