WINDOW DECORATION

I really love colored glass. So I bought a red star at the thrift store. It's a nice hanging lantern. The photo below I've taken around 7:30. It was so dark and rainy. My son (14)  had to bike to school. Friday is  a normal school day.

MAROKKAANS LANTAARNTJE

I first used a smokeless tealight. 🕯️ It shines more beautiful now. Tea lights burn for four to six hours, depending on manufacturer and conditions. I am content with it.

THEELICHTJE.

Gedaan. Hij heeft gelijk. Het staat leuker. Maar het glas wordt wel gloeiend heet. Ben benieuwd of jij vaak kaarsjes brandt in de wintertijd.

🕯️ Are you lighting your home with candles?

  4. Yes, I do use candles, both tea candles and regular candles. I like their soft, soothing light.
The glass David shield lantern is both beautiful and useful.

  11. I love the red star and the candle light shining from within. So beautiful in your window. Especially on a dark and rainy day. We often light candles on the dinner table, and sometimes I light candles in the other rooms when I want to have a soft glow and a light fragrance. I can't endure too much fragrance on candles, however. They will give me a headache, so I mostly prefer unscented candles. I do love the candlelight, however. The new battery operated candles are really nice, especially with timers so you don't have to worry about turning them off!! Thank you for sharing this lovely red star candle with us. I love it.

    Groet Kees.

  16. We use candles quite a bit. The best part of all is the odour when you first snuff them out. And I don’t think you ever get too old to enjoy eating by candlelight. It is amazing how much significance candles have in so many different religious observances.
