BEAUTIFUL MORNING WITH RAINBOW CLOUD

Weet je hoe vroeg de zon opkomt? Ik wel. En ik had de tijd om naar mijn lievelingsplek te fietsen. Zo mooi om daar de zon “wakker” te zien worden. Om te genieten van de prachtige details in de vrije natuur.

Do you know your local time for sunrise?  I do it was 7:54.  I took the time to cycle to my favorite place. So beautiful to see how the sun awakes. It was an amazing sunrise. Good to enjoy the beautiful details of nature.

Suddenly I saw a clear spot in the water of the ditch. That could not be the sun, I thought. So I looked up at the sky and  saw a small iridescent cloud. You know: a cloud with rainbow colors. Surprising. I made some pictures to show later all that beauty to my husband.

  5. Aritha, I believe it is a gift when we see a rainbow. Thank you for the rainbow on your blog today, it's so pretty. Our sunrises are very early, around 7:00, and since I'm an early riser, I see them often. It looks so cold to ride your bicycle this early, but what a wonderful thing to do.

  8. I'm not an early riser, so I miss the sunrise, but I do see a lot of sunsets in various places - and they somehow make it up for the missed sunrise.
    Your pictures are terrific!

  15. Beautiful. Our sunrise is at 06:30 and I have no problem getting up in time to see it, I am very much a morning person, but it is so chilly in the mornings that I don't :-)

  16. The early morning is the best time of the day. I love being up early - it's the getting up that is hard sometimes. I admire your tenacity to get out of a warm bed into a cold morning. How long did it take to thaw your knees? Bike riding is a great way to see the world. I have never seen a rainbow like the one in your photograph. Very pretty. Thank you for the photos. :-)

  17. Oh how lovely! I never knew that rainbow cloud was called a "sundog". I have seen them before, but didn't know it had a name! Thank you for sharing that with us. So glad you got up and went out early to enjoy all the beauty. Loved it. What a wonderful way to start the day!!
