Summer in our garden: Our lavender (lavandula angustifolia) is just starting to bloom!
Hieronder lavendel van vorig jaar in een klein glazen flesje. Als ik de dop eraf haal, ruikt het nog steeds heel lekker.

A couple years ago, I planted some lavender seeds in a container and was happy when they sprouted. Then a stray cat came along and used that container as a litter box :-( I should try again here :-) Enjoy your lovely lavender!

I have loved lavender since I was a child. During the war I stayed at my grand-parents in Provence near lavender fields. I wish I could grow it here but have not been successful.
