Niets is zeker
My husband is construction engineer and calculated/figured out the steel construction of this very large monument around the stone that marks the geographical center of The Netherlands in Lunteren. It has the shape of an arena. The intention is that people can rest here in the grass that grows on the podium and that they enjoy the beautiful nature around them. The arena has a diameter of 25 meters.
Around the Lunterse Goudsberg (Gold Mountain) is an area of outstanding natural, cultural, historical and geological qualities. An active sand dune area with heather cows, beautiful Celtic Fields with the reconstruction of an Iron Age farm and an old Hessenweg.

Check out the great video about this area.

Ja!

BeantwoordenVerwijderenDearest Jedidja; I enjoyed your instruction of the geographic center of your country♪ The podium people can rest in the grass that grows in wonderful. And makes a wonderful fence to share☆☆☆
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThank you so much for the sweet comment, Dear friend. I had a surgery of Retinal Detachment last year (left eye) and the distortion of the vision from the eye got a bit bad. Haha, going doctor and changing glasses. With my age, it can't be helped with some physical problems(^^;) But doing fine♪
Have a wonderful coming weekend with your wonderful family.
Sending Lots of Love and Hugs from Japan to my Dear friend in the Netherlands, xoxo Miyako*
