FLOWERING HEATH ON A FOGGY MORNING

So glad you enjoyed my posts. Thank you for taking the time to read my blogposts and comment! After the summer holidays, I have more time to visit other blogs. Another two weeks ... and then back again to normal life.

Normal life?
Eh, normal life? No. My husband and son will be working from home. Our Prime Minister reiterated his message on Tuesday asking people to work from home as much as possible. "The advice remains: work from home as much as possible."

  • How are you dealing with COVID-19 in your area?

I share some photos of a small heath field, called Elsterkopje. It was a bit foggy. But that was exactly what made it beautiful. Enjoy!

See that birch below? Too bad that it's blown over by the storm. It stood there so beautiful and characteristic, right on the edge of the heathland.

All those droplets! I took some up with my hand to cool my warm cheeks.

  1. Beautiful photos. During this corona virus stuff I am staying home and if I do have to go out I am sure to wear my mask. Have a blessed day and stay safe. Madeline

    Verder komen we nergens.

  7. Beautiful photos. We are still staying home as much as possible and when in store everyone MUST wear a mask! Numbers seem to be going down here in my area now!

Everyone is supposed to wear masks...we do stay home for the most part. Mostly out for what is necessary.

  9. The heath looks very beautiful indeed, Aritha. As for working from home, I think that for some this may become permanent,

  11. Hoi Aritha.

  13. Such beautiful photos. I love the heath and the fog, and the water droplets. So lovely. As far as Covid 19 Goes, we are still wearing masks in public places, but we have started back to church. We wear our masks and social distance. Schools are starting back up next week here. Some have chosen to continue schooling from home with online learning. But many are going in person too. They are giving people the choice, which is good. Many people still work from home if they can. We are retired, so we are fine. We go do our shopping as usual, but wear a mask. Praying things will continue to improve all around the world. Lovely post. Thank you.

  15. Beautiful ... there is something so special about water droplets in a photo ... we might not notice them, but photos show them so perfectly and remind us of water’s importance. ..... we live in a city in Western Oregon State (USA) and around us people are good about wearing masks everywhere. We are very careful. Last week we drove to the Pacific Coast..our first trip away from town for many months. We camped, so it was just like being at home, only with more beautiful scenery.
