Gisteren wandelde ik langs dit een bankje, waar een paar bloemen. Geen idee of het een tuin was, of gewoon een vergeten hoekje langs de weg. Ik móest even stoppen en een foto maken.
Wat mooi — zo eind oktober!
Volgens mij is dit gele zonnehoed (Rudbeckia). Taaie types: ze kunnen tegen wind en regen, en blijven gewoon bloeien zolang het niet vriest.
Nu ik dit schrijf, regent het hard en de lucht heeft de kleur van mijn ochtendpap (boekweit). Daarom deel ik vandaag foto's van deze vrolijke zonnetjes. Ik zou wel terug willen naar dat plekje, om te zien hoe ze nu staan te stralen in de regen.

BeantwoordenVerwijderenRain and gray skies are also a contrast to sunshine but it's good to experience both. One is good to see through the window, especially indoorsa and listening to the raindrops. I've walked in the rain too. The other, the sunshine is good to see and feel outdoors. I walk more and more in autumn sunshine.

Die gele bloemen heb ik ook. Het zijn geen rudbeckia’s. Daar zijn ze te hoog voor. Het is één of andere Helianthus. Een soort vaste zonnebloem. Maar welke het precies is ben ik ook nog nooit achter. Ik nam hem ooit bij een kraampje langs de weg mee. Hij bloeit ongelooflijk lang en rijk. Ook veel bijen en hommels erop altijd.

They are wildflowers, but they are so beautiful to see in contrast to the brown grasses that are dying out in the fall. I'm happy for you to have some rain...we need it so badly here. Our poor pond is so dry. I would happily walk in the raindrops if we had some that wasn't too stormy! I enjoyed your post so much. Happy October!
