WHITE CLOUDS ABOVE THE RIVER

My husband sent me new pics out of the town of Tiel (founded in the 5th century AD). This town is enclosed by the Waal river and the Linge river on the south and the north side, and the Amsterdam-Rhine Canal on the east side.

On the pics you see the Waal river.



Twee foto's van de Waal bij Tiel. Mijn man gaat er altijd even op uit in zijn pauze: langs de dijk lopen. En dan stuurt hij mij wat foto's. Deze mooie wolkenhemel mocht ik niet missen!

    It is very beautiful. What comes to mind, is that we in Norway don't have quite the same proud history as you have in the Netherlands. We don't have the same measurement of the nature, and not the same architecture. It is a good thing we can visit each other and learn from it.

    I love this typically blue Dutch sky with big white clouds that are quickly swept away by the wind and that enhance the shimmering water and the green vegetation.
