SUNFLOWER BEAUTY

The rain is gone. I am in the garden and stare at my sunflowers. I take some photos. I love the smell of  wet earth after rain. You too? 

Nothing

Mijn zonnebloemen

Mijn zonnebloemen gaan een beetje hangen. Maar, achter het huis komt er nog eentje aan Ik kijk er elke dag naar uit. Vandaag of morgen vouwt het de  blaadjes open!

The large flowers of my sunflowers in the front garden bend down more and more. Pretty soon the birds will peck the seeds out. But, another sunflower, behind my house and is almost blooming. I look forward to it every day.

• I want to be like a sunflower; so that even on the darkest days I will stand tall and find the sunlight.
• How beautifully the leaves grow old! How full of light and color are their last days!
