My husband once made these pics during his lunch break in the city of Tiel. They are perfect for my blog. On the mural you see a funny little man. His name is Flipje. It is the icon of the city.
Mijn man stuurde me deze foto's vanaf zijn werk. In de pauze loopt hij wel eens een rondje en ziet dan vaak iets leuks voor mijn blog. Je kent Flipje toch wel? Mijn op en oma hadden er kleine stripboekjes van die mijn broertje en ik gingen lezen als we op bezoek waren. Leuke herinnering trouwens.
MUURSCHILDERING FLIPJE
De muurschildering hieronder is bakkerij van Ooijen in de Westluidensestraat in Tiel. Onder de foto zie je link naar nog meer foto's (in een krant). En Flipje is ook te zien bij de Waterpoort, bekijk dit oude blogbericht nog eens. Gaaf hè, zo in de straat!

My hubby once showed the city of Tiel to me. We visited the city museum. I bought this key chain and we use it daily. And we ask: where is Flipje ... when we look for the key.
SLEUTELHANGER
Op een dag liet mijn man "zijn" stad aan me zien. We bezochten het standbeeld. Leuk om te zien en ik kocht een Flipje als sleutelhanger. Die gebruiken we dagelijks. En als we hem kwijt zijn zeggen we niet: waar is de sleutel... We zeggen dan: heb je Flipje gezien? 😊
