A Big Big Mug

My daughter is arrived from Germany! Home safely. Visiting Strasbourg in France, she saw many alert soliers with loaded guns, to protect the people against terrorism. We don't see that often in the Netherlands. So, I'm very glad she is back home now.

Veilig terug
Mijn dochter is weer terug van haar midweek Duitsland. Veilig thuis. Tijdens het dagje Straatsburg heeft ze veel bewapende soldaten op straat gezien. Dat maakte indruk! Hier in Nederland zie je dat niet zo ... Nou, ik ben echt blij dat ze terug is.

She bought a big big mug for my birthday, during the city trip in France. And a fruity-tasting green tea (flavoured with the aromas rhubarb and strawberries). A real countryside drank. She knows I love it.

Enorme mok

Do you love to  drink tea?
What's your favorite flavor?

  1. Thank you, Jedidja, for your visit and kind words. I love my tea and my favorite is Earl Grey although I like flavored ones too. Very scary about the armed soldiers in France. I'm glad your daughter is home safe. Have a nice weekend.

  2. I think I would be a little frightened to see soldiers with loaded guns but in this day and age it is really necessary. I'm glad your daughter is home safe and sound. I love the big mug, I have many different mugs being a true coffee drinker. Have a lovely day ahead Jedidja.

  9. Glad your daughter had fun! Tell her that we have got used to armed guards everywhere. It's become a part of our life over here :( What lovely gifts you received. I like rhubarb but haven't ever found it over here. Thanks for popping over to my blog and for your kind words.

  13. I'm glad your daughter is home and safe. What a pretty mug. I've tried several times to develop a taste for tea, but I'm a coffee drinker. Maybe it's my Swedish heritage. :-)
