A bit scary

In our village we have a 'skeelerbaan' and a 'skeelerclub'. A healthy sport. No, I don't practice this sport. My husband is the one who is skating regularly. He sends me beautiful pics:

This one for example (taken a month ago) with the old Loevestein Castle on it.

A bit scary
It's a bit scary: inline skating. You really need a helmet and knee - and wrist protection! Photo and video: today on the "skeelerbaan" in our village.

 Have you ever skated?

  2. I did some inline skating when I hit my mid-60s. Now, I figure there's no sense tempting fate! I want to live out the rest of my days without a broken leg or broken neck.

  3. Great shot your hubby sent! Looks like good exercise he is getting while skating. Certainly not something I would try. I remember skinned knees as a kid on my little roller skates, which by the way, I still have hanging in my garage. Still have my little old skate key, too...somewhere!

    Aloha!

  6. Hello, the first photo is lovely. I do not think I could stand up on those skates, I would rather walk. Happy Sunday, enjoy your new week ahead!
