A small Gipsy wagon drove through the city of Tiel. My husband saw this nice wagon during his break and made some quick pictures. Do you love it?

Een kleine zigeunerwagen reed door Tiel. Mijn man zag de wagen in zijn pauze en maakte snel wat foto's. Leuk!

Hundred Floating Umbrellas

The business owners of the Weerstraat in the city of Tiel had an idea to make the street more attractive. First there was the idea to hang old lampshades over it. But now you can see  hundred floating umbrellas! So cute.

Honderd Paraplu's
De ondernemers van één van de straten in Tiel wilden hun straat graag opleuken. Eerst speelden ze met het idee van lampenkappen. En nu hangen er honderd vrolijke paraplu's in de Weerstraat. Wel grappig toch?

This is what I saw in a street, in an old Dutch city Blue is the color! I love blue, you too?

Ik hou van blauw
Dit zag ik op straat. Zo grappig: al dat blauw. Ik hou er wel van.

Fish Under the Ice

On the way home, after an hour of fitness, I cycled along the canal. I saw the goldfish under the ice. And stopped to take pictures on this gloomy, gray morning. Brrr ... how cold. What's life like for a fish under the ice? They moved slowly under the ice. Just like on other days.

 

Goudvissen onder het ijs

Vanmorgen op de terugweg naar huis (na een uurtje fitness) kwam ik langs de gracht. Ik zag de goudvissen onder het ijs. En stopte om foto's te maken. Ze bewogen heel traag. Het is eigenlijk zo'n raar gezicht. Hoe houden ze het uit in de kou? Hoe leven daar, onder het ijs? Zouden ze het koud hebben?

Winter Wreath on Dutch Door

In this old Dutch street, I saw a beautiful winter wreath hanging on a door. With beautiful wooden stars, small pine cones and a mini light string wrappend around the wreath. O ... and notice also the small cord hanging from the mailbox (in the door). Almost everyone in the Netherlands knows its meaning.

 

Winterkrans

In dit oude straatje in Elburg zag ik een mooie  winterkrans hangen op een donkergroene deur. Zo mooi: wit houten sterren, kleine dennenappeltjes en een lichtsnoer. Heel mooi! En zie je je HET TOUWTJE uit de brievenbus hangen?

Snow White Candle Bridge

My hubby was looking for a candle bridge on Saterday. He bought the last one in the store. I love lights in this gloomy month of December. The candle bridge works on batteries and has seven energy saving LED lights. The photo below isn't very clear but I love my new window decoration.

Kaarsenbrug
Mijn man was op zoek naar een kaarsenbrug. Hij kocht de laatste in de winkel. Ik ben dol op lampjes in deze sombere maand December. De kandelaar werkt op batterijen en heeft zeven energy saving LED lights.

On his way home, he saw an organ grinder in the street. He made a short video to brighten up my dark winterday. I hope you like it too!

Orgeldraaier
Op de terugweg naar huis, mijn man zag een 'orgeldraaier' in de winkelstraat. Hij maakte een korte video om mijn dag op te vrolijken. Ik hoop dat je 't een leuk filmpje vindt.
